Long-read assemblies of arthropod genomes add Hymenoptera and poneroid ant references
The dominant thread is long-read genome assembly for non-model arthropods, with contiguity and completeness as the principal reported metrics. The Ascogaster reticulata assembly (280.5 Mbp, 209 contigs, ~99% BUSCO) is presented as a reference resource for Braconidae. Draft PacBio HiFi assemblies and annotations for Platythyrea mocquerysi and Stigmatomma oregonense report transposable-element-driven genome size variation across poneroid lineages, the most mechanistically distinctive observation in this set. The published Leptobrachium pangenome, a non-arthropod item, links keratin duplication and Hoxc13 regulation to interspecific variation in nuptial spines across six species. Comparative utility of the arthropod assemblies is implied rather than demonstrated within these items.
