The common thread is delegation of interpretive and workflow-construction steps in omics and biomedical research to LLM-based agents. LungChat organizes a hierarchical multi-agent conversational system over multi-omics data and adds DART, which performs direction-aware, cell-type-resolved drug repurposing. GUIA addresses interoperability, using Agent-to-Agent communication so that independently developed scientific agents can collaborate on shared resources. Biomni, published in Science, is a general-purpose biomedical agent that mines tools and protocols from the literature and composes workflows through retrieval-augmented planning. What is new is the coupling of analytic execution to literature-derived knowledge and to coordination among agents. The summaries provided do not report quantitative benchmarks against expert analysts, so performance claims remain unverified here.
