The common thread is the organization of pathogen protein data into curated, searchable knowledgebases in which structural information supports annotation and resistance analysis. PanRes addresses antimicrobial resistance determinants that remain distributed across resources with different scopes, and adds 3D-based protein homology search over both latent and acquired determinants. MARDy 2.0 couples FungAMR antifungal resistance data with UniProt and AlphaFold structures, providing BLAST search and mutation plots for resistance mutations. BactMentha takes a different scope, cataloguing bacteria-host protein interactions for human, mouse, and rat with virulence annotations and strain clinical relevance; its summary does not describe a structural component. What is new here is structure-level search applied directly to resistance determinants, as in PanRes, while MARDy 2.0 brings AlphaFold models into mutation-level analysis.
