The dominant thread is maintenance and extension of curated reference resources rather than new biological findings. Across the twelve published updates, recurring elements include expanded coverage, standardized reprocessing, and improved access. PaxDb v6.0 reprocesses 1639 public MS datasets from 392 species with a standardized FragPipe pipeline, and Expression Atlas reports more than 4500 studies across 67 species. Interoperability is a second theme: MetaNetX adds RDF reconciliation history and SPARQL access, UCSC introduces QuickLift cross-assembly annotation transfer, and AlphaFold DB is aligned to UniProt 2025_03. ChEBI reports full infrastructure and codebase modernization, and the Gene Ontology update adds over 1500 GO-CAM pathway models. SMART v10 and AlphaFold DB both report redesigned interfaces.
