Constraint-based robustness and GPR-aware gene deletion ranking for microbial metabolism
The dominant thread is constraint-based metabolic modelling applied to microbial phenotypes. TRAEV pairs a constraint-based framework with Monte Carlo perturbation analysis to predict the evolutionary robustness of microbial metabolic traits. HGPRGDel addresses a later stage, learning gene-deletion priorities from explicit gene-protein-reaction logic to rank growth-coupled strain designs and then validating candidates. SynBioFooDB documents the applied setting of synthetic biology-driven food biomanufacturing in which such engineered metabolism is pursued. What is new is the pairing of perturbation-based robustness estimates with GPR-aware ranking to prioritize engineering interventions. The set is heterogeneous, comprising two computational methods and one database, so the shared thread is methodological rather than a field-wide trend.
