Curated knowledge bases convert literature into queryable biomedical evidence

The dominant thread is converting curated or literature-derived evidence into structured, queryable resources. IEKB integrates curated inner-ear gene-phenotype associations, cochlear interactions and Bayesian candidate prioritisation into a scientific entity network. MTB-KB provides 75,170 literature-curated associations from 1,246 Mycobacterium tuberculosis publications, with a knowledge graph and search. A third item differs in method: an LLM pipeline screens each paper against a biomedical hypothesis for supporting and contradicting evidence, validated on BioNLI, to quantify consensus. What is new is explainability in IEKB's dark-gene support relations and hypothesis-level consensus quantification via LLM-assisted screening. All three are preprints, so coverage and performance claims remain provisional.
