Curated RNA resources and nanopore methods map circRNA modifications and interactions

The dominant thread is RNA-centric resources and methods that move from aggregate annotation toward modification- and interaction-resolved data. CircDiscoverer, a preprint, integrates curated and predicted circRNA-protein interactions and modification landscapes across four species, with experimental support. CircRM adds a measurement layer, profiling m5C, m6A and m1A in circular RNAs by nanopore direct RNA sequencing at single-base, single-molecule resolution. iPEAPR applies a related logic at cohort scale, using summary RNA editing data from more than 5,000 cancer samples to relate editing features to survival and immunotherapy response. The remaining items are less directly aligned: a review comparing 66 miRNA-disease prediction methods across data resources and similarity measures, and a study reporting widespread noncoding splice isoforms in human mRNA. What is new is the pairing of single-molecule inputs with curated, queryable outputs.
