Modular simulation, LLM documentation auditing and privacy-preserving data access tools

The items share an infrastructure focus rather than a single method. MEmilio is a modular C++/Python framework unifying compartmental, metapopulation and agent-based epidemic models for scalable simulation. BioGuider is a multi-agent LLM platform that assesses and corrects bioinformatics software documentation, benchmarked by error injection across 47 tools. BioVault is an open-source peer-to-peer data visitation platform in which analysis code moves to the data, enabling privacy-preserving GWAS and allele frequency analyses. The dominant thread is modularity combined with validation or access control at the software-infrastructure layer; only BioGuider uses LLM agents. All three are preprints, and performance claims remain to be independently assessed.
