The items share a cancer target-identification theme rather than a single mechanism. RyboCypher links dark RNA isoforms to MS/MS data, producing CypherAtlas with about 80,000 cryptic peptides and a cancer-linked YBX1 target (preprint). A published deep learning screen of more than 6,000 repurposed compounds nominates emodepside, which inhibits triple-negative breast cancer xenograft growth via NAMPT. INSIGHT couples cell sorting with mass spectrometry to map in vivo phosphoproteomic signaling networks of disseminating glioblastoma cells. The new element is the expansion of target space: peptides from noncanonical transcripts, a computationally prioritized drug candidate, and signaling states measured directly in vivo. The deep learning screen is computational rather than mass spectrometry-based, so the common thread is proteomic and computational evidence applied to cancer target discovery.
